After I saw the heartbreaking documentary of all of the horrifying torment, abuse, starvation, and neglect of young little Gabriel Fernandez, I knew that there was more that we all could be doing to prevent such violent tragedies from continuing to occur to our most vulnerable and innocent, and all children around the world. Ecaani takes real steps, with actual results to decrease the abuse of Children while also having a greater further impact on our society, environment, and throughout our communities. I am proud to be apart of an organization that is doing so much for positive change.

There are plenty of programs and resources out there to help children and families after abuse has already occurred. ECAANI takes proactive and preventative measures to significantly reduce all physical, sexual, violent abuse, torment and neglect of Children before allowing it to occur at the hands of adults who should be protecting them. ECAANI provides more options for anyone unwilling or unable to properly care for an infant or Child and provides them with the resources and assistance to make the better decision to not bring a child into any unstable and unsafe situation. ECAANI provides hope that one day, in every city, country, and state we will see the End of Child Abuse and Neglect!

My Brother-in-Law had a child taken away by DCF due to drugs and neglect. He continued to have 2 more children after making no changes at all. We all know someone who just because they can have kids, doesn’t mean they should. Organizations like ECANNI help adults make a more responsible, selfless decision when it comes to bringing a new little life into this world!
